Demos(or other pseudonyms) Chiang 蔣友柏 (US/Canadian Citizens) -
His Father 蔣孝勇, as son of the former Soviet-trained Dictator, has profited from the monopoly of all imported energy resources to Taiwan (usually marked 25% above prevailing international market price) as well as installation of all major air conditioning equipments on the island. Fled to Montreal, Quebec upon death of the dictator, later emigrated to Danville, California. He is reported to be owner of at least 2 major shopping malls in the US. The vast fortune of his family may not be registered completely in the US, as his great grand father have absconded US Government funds to buy real estates overseas (1948) As President Harry Truman remarked, 'They stole 750 million dollar out of the [$3.8] billion that we sent to Chiang. They stole it, and its invested in real estate down in Sao Paulo and some right here in New York.'
Currently continuing to profit from Taiwan, he has establish a design company catering to influential political elites' affiliated companies. At the same time, his self-proclaimed name 'demos' is a play on doublethink.
